The Understanding The Science Series by EosActive is a cool set of webinars discussing various aspects of joint health mostly relating to Osteoarthritis but Jim asked me to join to discuss Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Alongside Professor Mark Slevin, I chat about the options to manage the Rheumatoid Arthritic Joint and in the time allotted give some ideas on how you might go about choosing these treatment options along with the person attending clinic.
I attempt a hierarchy of treatment options (which is a challenge in such a variable and complex disease!) and not something I have done for RA before so that is worth checking out in my not so humble opinion.
Prof. Slevin follows up with some fascinating data on the use of Hyaluronic Acid in Rheumatoid Arthritis which seems to have some potential and I certainly learned a lot from that segment!
